He is extremely athletic with a big motor and no bottom. He has been a slave on the ranch his entire life and that is what he prefers to do. Knight is 14.2 hh and well built, with plenty of bone and hard, black feet. He is 17 years old but sound and healthy, with no issues or maintenance needed. He has been been on one ranch in West Texas for most of his life, where he was used for all phases of ranch work including sorting pairs, roping and doctoring cattle in the pasture, and checking fence. Knight is cowy, quick footed, strong to the horn and good on the end of a rope. He is well broke, with a good one handed neck rein and a good stop, and he will sidepass, work off your leg and open and shut gates. He is a pleasure to ride out in the pasture, crosses water with no problem, and isn’t spooky. Knight can be ridden out by himself or with other horses, and doesn’t mind being separated from the group. He has also been ridden alongside the road and in traffic and isn’t bothered by it. Asking $2500. Knight has excellent ground manners, stands quietly tied, gets along great with other horses, and is easy to catch, load, haul and shoe.
