These Dogs are from very special working lines. Grandfather is a top Hog Hunter/Ketch Dog from Daniel’s excellent Coonbottom Catahoulas Kennel. Both Sire (NALC) and Dam are used for Livestock Protection on my farm. We have been using Catahoulas for over 16 years now. The beauty of these Dogs is that they can be tough and gritty with intruders from outside the farm but are completely gentle, loving, and protective of all the animals belonging to the farm. They can kill a Coyote or babysit newborn Goat kids. They are smart enough to know what belongs on the farm and what does not. I can set down just hatched chicks or geese in front of them and they will stay with them until I return. I used to lose a lot of Chickens and goats before I started running these great Dogs. They even watch out for Hawks. And the Hawks know it. When we work Cattle they are constantly helping, instinctively knowing what we are trying to accomplish. Clearly I cant say enough about these Bloodlines. Make your ranch a safer place with loving , working Companions. Please note, Dam is from excellent Louisiana bloodlines but does not have papers so litter will not be registered. Still, these pups will go fast. Your Deposit will put you in line to Pick. Sat Jan 30 will be pick up day unless otherwise arranged. Current photos are from last litter. Check for new pics in early Feb 2021. Plan car transport. Please No Airline Flights for our pups. Private plane in a lap is okay. Thank you.
