I have 20+ years experience with livestock. I have spent the last 16 years working on cattle ranches as an all around Ranch Hand.



Skills include:

Riding/Roping inside or outside.

Shoe my own horses.

Identify illness/injury- doctor accordingly.

Calving, sorting, herding, grazing management.

Feedlot operations.

Fencing/construction.

Can operate a variety of tractors/heavy equipment.

Can also drive truck (but do not have a CDL)

Haying, basic pivot & well maintenance.

Remote dirt or stock tank installment.

Basic mechanic/welding skills.

Crew supervision.

Saddle building/repair & more.



My wife of 21 years may assist with some ranch chores if needed. We have one adult son who’s out on his own so a remote location far from schools is not an issue. I have a spotless driving record & background. I’m a non smoker & have NEVER used drugs. My wife & I will carefully consider ALL opportunities, however our ideal situation would be full time/long term & located in south central/south eastern Oregon or south western/south central Idaho with private housing. I have no problem using four wheelers but would prefer a position with at least SOME periodic horseback work. Thank you for your consideration. sagencrow@hotmail.com
