2013 AQHA Gelding

Rio is a gorgeous buckskin gelding that is as gentle as they come. He has been there done that.

Rio is safe, kind and willing to please. He is very broke to ride and has been used for every task on the ranch. He has been sorted on, doctored off, and branded on. Rio stands 15.1 hands tall, is stout, and has good foot and bone.

We have also used Rio extensively on trails and on long rides in the desert. He is very smooth and easy to ride. He has a one hand neck rein, rocking chair lope, will side pass to open and close gates, and will cross any obstacle in his path.

Rio has been ridden by every class of rider, from experienced to beginners. He is also fun to ride in the arena as he has solid lope departures, is soft in his face and sides, and lopes collected circles. This is a pretty, gentle, prime aged gelding, ready for his new family to have a blast on!
