He fully represents the Brabant draft breed in every aspect.... Very mellow, willing and definitely has an “old soul”. Glacier draws attention anywhere you take him. He will quickly become the favorite of all your family and friends. We have been using Glacier on the ranch for all jobs for over a year now. We are extremely selective with his ride time..... he mostly only gets rode once a week, sometimes only once every 2 weeks. He does not require lunging before riding. He’s solid as an oak and handles all types of situations with ease and confidence. He rides out alone, crosses water and bogs with zero hesitation, and rides with dogs. He’ll go anywhere you point him and does not need another horse to lead the way through new or tricky situations. He is fantastic on the trails! He’ll keep up with everyone and has the stamina to be out all day. Lead the way or stay in the back of the group... he doesn’t care. He is the perfect choice if you prefer to ride into town to the restaurant or bars! He isn’t phased by motorcycles, 4-wheelers, bicycles or semi traffic & he ties quietly in the restaurant’s parking lot as well. He has also been to multiple Mounted Patrol classes and I believe he would make a fantastic Mounted Patrol prospect! This gelding has proven himself to us to be safe and extremely consistent. He has zero bad habits or quirks and handles time off without becoming fresh. We have owned him since Dec. of 2018. He is easy to catch in a large pasture, easy to load/unload and is great for the farrier to trim. No stocks required for this big guy.
