Tex is a been there done that ranch horse. He has gathered, sorted, drug calves to the fire at the brandings, you name it he knows what a full days work is. Tex is a gorgeous cherry red sorrel color with socks on all four feet. This is a stand out gelding that we have headed and heeled some steers on. He is good in the box, scores well and leaves real flat. He has a big motor an will run to one. Tex rates cattle good, works the rope and pulls good from the horn. He is just the right size to rope either end. Tex has been ridden in and out of the arena, he is good with ropes, flags, tarps, cars, dogs, equipment and the big scary ball too. This is a prime age gelding that is one hand broke with a great handle on him that is easy to ride. if you don’t want a rope horse or ranch using horse, he is a real good outside riding horse as well. He walks out on a loose rein and has a steady fast walk to him. He loads, clips, bathes, hauls and stands for the farrier. Definitely a nice gelding that has no bad habits or vices.
