He is broke to just about everything, including traffic, gas stations, dogs, water, logs, ropes around feet, whips and tarps. Kids take him to town for ice-cream. He is safe, respectful, and fun to ride. Hank is a handsome and well put together 3 year old AQHA 14.3 hand bay gelding. He has good conformation and a willing disposition. He is over 50% Blue Valentine, one of the most respected lines in gentle, hardworking ranch horses. He is definitely gentle, respectful and user-friendly in the saddle and on the ground. Hank has a nice, slow and comfortable-kind of a lope. Hank is a very solid and quiet minded horse to ride out anywhere from busy neighborhood streets to rugged mountain trails. He is a good, trustworthy partner that will lead or follow. Fast passing vehicles, barking dogs and bicycles passing us by have been of no concern to him. Hank has been used on the ranch and knows what a day’s work is all about. We have clocked hundreds of miles on him with a Garmin GPS in his saddle bag.
