He is 18 years old but still thinks he is 5, gentle as can be with no buck but plenty of gas and life left in the tank. Denver has done a little bit of everything in his life. He started out on a ranch being used for all phases of ranch work, and in the recent ears has been used as a pleasure horse on a ranch out in west Texas. He has also carried a flag in parades and has been used for lessons. Denver has an excellent handle, stops easily, and will work a gate. He is a pleasure to ride out in the pasture, crosses water with no problem, and isn’t spooky. He loves to be ridden and will still go all day long if you ask him to. Denver can be ridden by himself or with other horses, will happily lead or follow, and doesn’t mind being separated from the group. He has also been ridden alongside the road and in traffic and isn’t bothered by it. Denver is gentle and stays that way even if not ridden regularly, and has never offered to buck, rear, bite, kick or take off. He rides just as good bareback with a halter as he does with a saddle and bridle. Denver would be better suited to an adult who is at least an intermediate rider, as he has a big stride and a motor and enjoys moving out. He has recently been wormed and had his teeth floated, but is still in need of a few pounds along his topline. He is steadily gaining weight with us but is not yet where he should be. Asking $2500.
