Traveller as we call him gets his name because he will walk out and cover some country! He has a fast walk and is confident, quiet and will go anywhere you point him - willingly. Traveller has been a ranch horse most all of his life, he is excellent to ride outside, safe and navigates any obstacle you present him with. He has crossed water, and willing willingly walk out into a stream and take a drink. He is barefoot and his feet are tough as nails even in the rockiest terrain. Not scared of anything I have presented him with, and I have put him through all the tests! This may not be the prettiest horse that has came through my program, but he is really enjoyable to ride. He’s dog gentle on the ground and has the very best ground manners. He is all about business and is resepctful of your space. He has absolutely no buck or foolishness. Never cinchy, just step on and go. Ties, loads, hauls, stays gentle in new surroundings. He is healthy, absolutely sound, has clean legs and big good black feet. Just had his teeth floated, dentist mouthed him at 15 years old. Per owner, horse is 13 years old. Gentle for anyone, but responsive and forward moving so best suited for someone who knows how to ride. If you really like a horse that is forward moving and walks out fast, he is super to ride. He has a good neck rein and rides between the reins. He has an almost gaited like trot and super smooth little lope that is so EASY to ride. He will hop into his slow lope and is fun to ride. This is one of those good old ranch horses that is hard to find anymore; he is tough as nails, takes care of himself and will last a long time. If you are like me and likes a horse that lines out and walks and gets those reins a swinging, and covers some country, this is the horse for you!
