We would prefer a remote cake and grass outfit (Eastern Colorado). I (Ty) grew up ranching in the Oklahoma panhandle and did so after high school for several years, mostly day working and starting colts. After I got married I began using horses and dogs to help troubled teens. I did that for 11 years before getting into the oil and gas industry in 2010 after a divorce. I am at a place in my life that I want to get back to what I love most (ranching). We are looking for a place that supports cattle work being done horseback and that enjoys making good horses. We have two smaller boys that will be with us half of the time and with their dad in Northern Colorado near Greeley the rest of the time. We want them to be involved as much as possible when they are with us. They will be home schooled on the ranch by Amanda, who works from home as an online college teacher. Amanda desires to help out in any capacity on the ranch whenever possible. I have experience with cow/calf operations and trucking. I have a current class A CDL with tanker and hazmat endorsement. We both have clean backgrounds and good driving records. We do not use drugs or alcohol. We want to find a place we can do a good job with good people. We are neat and clean and will take care of the animals, equipment, and facilities as if they were our own. We are self-starters and work well alone and with others. We want the opportunity to be as self-reliant as possible on the ranch. Ty can be available the beginning of April. Amanda and the boys can come towards the end of May.
