He is west Texas broke, really rides around nice and doesn’t get rattled by anything. He is good to doctor on, rope a wild one, and real good at sorting, stout by the saddle horn. Rides lowheaded and quiet always paying attention to the job at hand. Dutch has been used all his life in rough rocky country , can be ridden by anyone that can ride a sure nuff broke ranch horse. Stays between the bridle reins , soft in his face . He can pack a big cowboy around all day. He is very accustomed to a hard days work. Works a rope nice when doctoring, drags calves the best or drags one in the trailer by himself. Dutch has lots of cowboy manners , ground ties , good to shoe, vaccinate and worm. Hauls the very best in our ranch trailers backs out when told. If you need a well seasoned ranch horse here he is. We dont keep these horses in stalls with blankets on them we use them doctoring sick calves. When we aren’t using them they are turned out for a few days. They didn’t come off a large well known ranch in west Texas or New Mexico , they came from good cowboys that work for a living taking care of cattle. They are all broke real nice and know what a days work is. I generally have a few good ranch horses on hand . I won’t sell a ranch horse I wouldn’t ride myself all day. 100% sound and sane!
