He was turned out for 3 years until we bought him a few months back, and needs a job. He is not for kids, beginners, grandma or a weekend warrior. He is not an outlaw by any means and is not going to buck, rear or do anything like that, he just needs a tune up and a job. He is tough and built to hold up to hard work, so he would make a good using horse. Tick has been primarily used to check fence and push cattle, and has been lightly roped off of but that was a while back. He has a good handle and stop, is good on both leads, and has nice smooth gaits that are easy to sit to. He is a pleasure to ride out in the pasture, crosses water with no problem, and isn’t spooky. Tick is very sure footed and will go up, over or through anything you point him at. He can be ridden out by himself or with other horses, will happily lead or follow, and doesn’t mind being separated from the group. He has also been ridden alongside the road and in traffic and isn’t bothered by it. Asking $2500. Tick has good ground manners, stands quietly tied, and is easy to load, haul and shoe.
