I can’t say enough good things about him. He is really easy to be around and has great ground manners. Goose acts like an old gelding under-saddle. He has been trail ridden here at home and at our local National Forest. Goose handles new experiences well and doesn’t hunt for boogers. He will lead or follow and crosses whatever you put in front of him. Goose has been ridden in the arena as well and will walk, trot, lope and has a good stop on him. He has been worked on a cutting flag and has a lot of cow. He could easily be a turn back or sorting horse. Goose has roped a dummy and live calves and is really learning to rate and stop and hold. Nothing out of the box yet. Once again, he has so much cow!! Goose has been used to pony other horses. He is getting a nice handle on him. He will side-pass, turn on the forehand or haunches. Goose just needs someone to continue his education in whatever avenue they desire. He is bred to be a ranch type or rope horse and has the athleticism and mind to do either. His sire is an AQHA point earner in Mounted Shooting and a finished head horse! With additional training, Goose could easily go show in SHOT or Ranch Horse shows or he could excel as a rope horse or just a trail/using type horse. Goose is the entire package. No holes in him. No bad habits. Goose is current on vaccines/ dewormer/ dental work/ coggins/ hoof care.
