Description:
Boss is a handsome 5 year old 15.1 hand sorrel gelding. He is a really curious and outgoing kind of a horse. He is gentle, well trained and fun to ride. He has a good neck rein and is smooth traveling. Lopes out on cue, takes his leads and has a nice back up. Side passes as well to open and close the gate. Boss is really good to ride out anywhere from our busy neighborhood streets to mountain trails. He handles it all really well. On the trails he will lead or follow. He rides quietly in larger groups as well. Crosses the river, streams and downed trees and is very sure footed in steep terrain. He is great around the neighborhood and is very curious and wants to investigate all the stuff in the neighborhood that looks odd or out of place. He goes up and sniffs the dumpsters, wood pallets, discarded old furniture and rides right passed it all. Super solid about the fast moving cars and charging/barking dogs as well. Boss has been well started and patterned on the barrels and would make a great barrel horse prospect. He has also been started roping the hot heels and has been roping the burro. He is a friendly and fun to ride horse that has no bad habits or vices. 100% sound.Sold. Sorry you missed him. We have others. Feel free to drop us a line and see if we have a match for you.
