He he has a big, kind eye & is a favorite everywhere he goes! “Marlin” is broke to the very best. He has been used for just about everything from ranch work, to beginners team penning & obstacle challenges, kids play-day events, and has been taken on trail rides, in over 12 different states. Some of those trail rides being up to 3 and 4 days long! He is great in any type of terrain and is very sure footed. Doesn’t matter if it’s rocky, muddy, steep inclines or descents. He crosses water like he’s done it every day of his life and cruises down the trail without a worry in the world. “Marlin” is also handy to have around for any kind of ranch work. He has a smooth jog and an easy lope, side passes, and works gates like an absolute dream. Has a great stop and back up. You can leave him off for long periods of time and he does not get fresh, he rides just the same as he did the last time you rode him. There’s no tricks or gimmicks to this sweet guy, he is very enjoyable to have and be around. “Marlin” is 12 years old, stands 15/15.1 hands and weighs around 1175/1200 lbs. Has thick bone and solid black hooves. He is sound, sane, and healthy. There’s no maintenance required for him, no special feeds or treatment. Just good ol hay/grass and water and he’s good to go.
