Description:
Dixie is a gaited 9 yr. old Bay Mare with a big strong build. She has been used the last few years In 4-H ranch horse and ranch roping. She is experienced with roping, has experience in working cattle and has roped live cattle. She is supple and collects at all gaits; her lope is so smooth. She has competed in and has been hauled alot to 4-H shows, and rideouts at different arenas, ranch clinics, ranch ropings, gymkhanas. Great trail horse, has a big stride and is a forward mover at the walk and trot.This mare loves to be on the move. She rides out alone or with a group. She can really cover ground, go over logs, through water, up hills, over ditches and bridges and you can stop and grab the mail when returning home from a ride. She has a good stop, sidepasses, backs, rollsback, opens gates.Good with bikes, cars, etc. She has lived with and been around every kind of livestock and is good with dogs. Dixie is a kind mare that has good ground manners and knows her ground work. She has been very well cared for, up to date on deworming, and vaccines. Sound, and can go barefoot or shoed.
