Description:
Due to acquiring more housing, I have a full time opening for an experienced candidate on a 700 head cow calf ranch near Big Timber, MT. Housing provided, time off, paid vacation, beef, opportunity to run some cows of your own after a year, wages DOE. You can use horses or four wheelers for working cattle, no irrigating, minimal farming, lots of dryland hay to put up with pretty nice equipment. It’s not a “cowboy” outfit, there will be building fence, truck driving, tractor driving, feeding cows and wrench turning - we doctor using a dart gun and do 90% of our own mechanic work. We are a very progressive operation that is always searching for ways to improve and make the ranch a great place to live and work. I’m looking for a person (or couple) that works every day to better the operation and themselves and who loves the lifestyle, who can direct a crew or work alone efficiently.
