This gelding is the kind of horse everyone is calling trying to find. “Sterling” is an 11 year old gray gelding that is built like a quarter horse should be. He is stout, has clean, straight legs, a big hip, nice shoulder and a beautiful head with a big, kind eye. He stands 14.3 hands, making him the perfect height for anyone and anything.

He has been shown in local beginner ranch versatility competitions, used to gather and check cattle/fences, and is a complete veteran out on the trail. He makes it SO fun and easy. He’s also been used for two younger girls to learn a few playday events on, and would be awesome for something like that too. “Sterling” is great in the arena as well, smooth jog/trot and a lope that is comfortable and easy to sit. He has a fantastic neck rein and is very simple and easy to ride. “Sterling” doesn’t have any buck or rear and rides out nice and quiet whether he is alone or is just as content riding in a group of horses. He is great in new surroundings and isn’t spooky at all, he has a great mind and always wants to take care of you. It doesn’t matter if you ride everyday or once every month, he’s going to be the same horse every time you get on him. No nonsense.

“Sterling” stands to be groomed, saddled, mounted/dismounted, bathed and loves all sorts of attention. “Sterling” is perfect for someone who wants a nice, quiet horse that they can have fun on and enjoy. He is 100% sound and healthy - no special maintenance, feed or other care. He is an easy going, easy to take care of gelding that is going to be appreciated anywhere he goes!
