You could drive the wheels off your truck and trailer trying to find a black and white paint as nice as this one. Dice is beautifully marked, extremely quiet and gentle, very well broke, and just about as honest and safe as they come. He is 14 years old and 15.3 hh and has always had the best of care so he is sound with no health or soundness problems. Dice came off a big ranch in West Texas and has been used for all phases of ranch work, including sorting pairs, roping and doctoring cattle in the pasture, ponying colts, and checking fence. He has carried a flag in the grand entries and he rides just as quiet away from home as he does at home. He is the same horse every time you ride him, and he does not need to be ridden every day to stay gentle. Dice has an excellent handle and stop, and although he is big he has a nice smooth trot and lope that rides more like a little horse. Dice is a pleasure to ride out in the pasture, crosses water with no problem, and isn’t spooky. He will sidepass, work a gate and move off your leg. He is gentle enough for just about anyone to ride, but because of his size would not recommend him for small children. Dice rides quietly on a loose rein, and will never go any faster than you ask him to. He is laid back but responsive, not lazy, and although he prefers to be slow rather than fast he will go if you ask him to. Dice can be ridden out by himself or with other horses, and doesn’t mind being separated from the group. He has also been ridden alongside the road and in traffic and isn’t bothered by it.
