Description:
“Lil Gray” is a super cool gelding that’s cute as a button and handy as a pocket on your shirt. He was started with a cutting trainer and has been used as a turn back horse. He’s definitely cowy and is a great sorting horse. He’s been hauled and competed on. He has a nice handle and does everything low headed. He picks up his leads and lopes around really quiet with the most incredible lope you’ve ever sat on. He’s been used for light ranch duties including gathering, moving and penning cattle, checking fence lines and prowling pastures. He cruises along and on a loose rein and never gets hot or chargy. We got him from a lady in her 60’s and she used him for trail riding. He is willing and goes where you want him to. We’ve taken him to Dinosaur Valley Park and the National Grasslands to ride. He has a super sweet personality and really bonds with his person. He is extremely smart and catches on quick to new things. He is gentle but he is alert and a little looky. However he is not in anyway dangerous, broncy or mean. We’ve taken him several places since we’ve had him and he looks around and checks things out and then goes right on. If you wanted to start him as a rope horse he should make a cool heel or breakaway mount. He has an incredible set of papers and his good breeding shines through in his looks and athletic ability. Lil Gray has no bad habits or vices. He stands for the farrier, ties, bathes, loads and hauls.
