Diamond Ceilo aka "Maverick" 2007 AQHA gelding (grandson of Gallo Del Cielo), Peppy San Badger, Doc o’Lena, Zan Parr Bar on papers. Having sit for a year, no fault of his, we sent him to LCCC for the riding program from Jan-April this year and here is what the student said of him: "Having sat for a year, I got on him in January and he was a perfect gentleman. He’s the guy that you look forward to riding every day and doesn’t skip a beat. He’s ready to go to work with a good attitude. You could ranch on him one day, take him to the show pen the next, and turn around and do team penning or sorting. Best suited for an adult or even a more experienced youth rider looking for a step up horse. Place 5th out of 22 at his FIRST TIME in a show setting for Ranch Horse Versatility in March doing a full reining pattern, pleasure, trail, cutting. Throw some sliders on him and he would excel in the show pen. Knows his leads, changes leads easily, trots out nice, lopes slow or fast, backs, sidepasses, spins are getting better every day, you name it. Has more go than whoa, but is not going to argue if you choose to go a slower pace. Works cows and cutting flag. Goes through water over bridges, drags logs. Maverick is a joy to be around and still has a ton of miles left. He is respectful on the ground lets you bather him, trailer, gets along great with other horses, goes barefoot, easy keeper. I wish I could keep him but it is not in the cards for me."
