He is very well bred and built to last. This gentle and good natured horse is pleasure to ride and be around. He’s a well-trained trail and ranch horse that most anyone can ride and get along with. Easy one hand neck rein, collects up nicely and has a comfortable slow jog. Lopes out on cue and rates his speed to what the rider is asking for. Good stop, back up, side pass and turn around. Opens and closes the gate easy. He is solid to ride out on busy neighborhood streets as well as out on the mountain trails. Quiet minded and kind. Rides in the front, in the middle or happily rides last when asked. Rides calm in larger groups or out on his own. Oz is sure footed in the steep rocky terrain, crosses the river, streams, downed timber and such and will go everywhere we ask. He is also good in the hood’. Traffic safe and un concerned about the charging dogs jumping up and down and barking at us. Oz is also an outstanding ranch horse that works cattle, does all the ranch work and is a finished head horse. Quiet in the box and rates well. Oz is a get along kind of guy with no vices or bad habits and has been good at everything we throw at him. 100% safe sound and sane in every way.
