“Hercules” is a 12 year old draft cross gelding that has not only been used on a working ranch, but he is safe for absolutely anyone to ride! He’s as solid as they come. “Hercules” will stand like a statue for hours on end for children to fuss over, or for his rider to pull up a mounting block and wait patiently for them to get on. He’s an absolute dream out on the trails, really navigates his way up and down hills, through the rocks, crosses water, etc. You will not find a more sure footed, solid horse than him. Tarps, flags, atvs, barking dogs, screaming kids, nothing has phased him at all. He was ridden by an older man to gather/doctor cattle. He will push cattle and sort quietly. He has also been ridden at the sale barn penning cattle - he works gates like a dream. Has a great one handed neck rein, & rides great in the arena, he knows his leads and has very smooth gaits. He is easy to catch, load, shoe, etc. Will not get fresh with time off, he is the kind you can let sit and saddle him up and go. “Hercules” is the total package and perfect for the whole family. He stands 15.2 hands, weighs around 1200/1250 lbs, is sound, sane, and going to be a great addition to anyone’s barn.
