With just a little bit of tuning this horse is ready to haul to reined cow-horse shows. I’ve owned this horse since he was a three year old and have mainly used him for ranch work. I’ve roped cattle outside, drug bulls in the trailer, drug lots of calves, gathered big pastures, and checked wheat pasture calves. I’ve also used him as a mount for a few kids. He was ridden by my 8 year old daughter at play days and by a 9 year old boy out gathering cattle. I am NOT selling him as a kid horse as he has a big motor and needs a kid that knows how to ride. When he came to me as a three year old he had lots of professional reined cow-horse training, I’m not nearly as handy as those trainers and just used him as a ranch horse. However, in the last three months I had him at a trainer’s place getting tuned up. He will really watch a cow and is very fun to ride. Nothing wrong with this horse at all and a really nice set of papers. I had planned for my daughter to use this horse but she was given a filly by a neighbor and prefers the filly. I’m usually riding young ones and this horse has too much potential to just sit around and get fat. I’m negotiable on price.
