He is 9 yrs old, 14.3 hands , 1100 lbs , black footed , has a good wither. And plumb gentle, stays gentle for most anyone. Doesn’t matter to Pete if he gets used every day or once a month he rides the same, lowheaded and quiet. He has been used all over Texas and the last 2 years in Wyoming, branding lots of calves on a big outfit where they use them. Stout by the saddle horn , has lots of manners , good rock hard feet, and plenty conformation. He has the best dog trot a good ranch gelding can have, never picks his head above the saddle horn. Hauls the best in my ranch trailer, backs out when told. Lately we used Pete in local cow sales , all the noise and commotion don’t bother him a bit. Pete is handy broke , stays between the bridle reins. Doesn’t shy from anything, good to catch a wild bovine on , real handy dragging calves, or loading trucks. Good to sort on and good at it. Pete has no blemishes, is 100% sound and sane, easy to shoe, vaccinate and worm. If you need and excellent ranch gelding with no quirks or issues of any kind here he is. If I had to go catch a Buffalo today Pete is the horse I would use. These well seasoned ranch geldings are hard to come by these days, and not usually for sale this good.
